Implementation of a trust concept for a sustainable information and media architecture (VeNIM)

Description

The Cyberagentur is planning research activities on the development and implementation of a holistic trust architecture for multimedia content (audio, image, video and text) in the field of cyber-resilient society. The aim is to answer fundamental questions about the design and requirements of such an architecture. This should make it possible to verify and trace the integrity, authenticity and authorship of a wide variety of multimedia content. The focus is on the following research question:
How must a scalable, generic architecture be designed that allows reliable verification and tracking of the authenticity, integrity and authorship of multimedia content, while at the same time being easy to use for users without extensive technical knowledge thanks to low entry barriers and effectively protecting people with a legitimate interest in anonymity?
The subject of this tender is a concept paper that provides a description of a trust architecture as well as feasible recommendations for its realization. The concept paper is to be delivered in the form of a written elaboration and consists of structured text, associated illustrations (e.g. diagrams, schematics, diagrams) and, if applicable, tables.
