About us

We think the future of cyber security.
For Germany’s digital sovereignty.

Profile

Driving forward ambitious dual-use research as a project sponsor+.

We are looking ten to 15 years into the future. This is because the demands on cyber security and therefore internal and external security are growing. Key technologies such as quantum computing, AI and new cryptographic processes are developing at breakneck speed and with almost unforeseeable effects. Systems such as energy supply, supply chains or government agencies are high-value targets on the agenda of criminal powers and are increasingly exposed to their cyberattacks. In addition, deepfakes, data theft and fake news are torpedoing the security of society. All good reasons to push ahead with research into ground-breaking innovations in cyber security. So that Germany can gain strategic and tactical advantages in the cyberspace of the future, in short: digital sovereignty.
